MAKEUP MOMENT
“Lea has great skin so I just used foundation to give her skin a clean polish,” said Bailey, who applied the lightweight formula with an angled brush for a sheer, buff finish. The complexion was the perfect backdrop for the main event: Striking raspberry lipstick. “I thought red lips would feel too holiday with the black clothing,” said Bailey. “This shade was sophisticated without looking too goth.”

MAKEUP MOMENT
“Lea has such strong features that she can get away with very little makeup and carry a lot of makeup,” said Bailey. It was this fierceness that inspired the makeup artist to pair a strong, smoky eye with a bold berry lip. “The eye was about a soft sort of drama,” he said. To create the look, he blended a creamy charcoal shadow all along the lids with his fingertips and finished with black mascara. “To be honest though, she has such gorgeous lashes I really only needed one coat,” he said.

6 Picks with Rick Malambri
“I use this all the time. It soothes your face and gives it a much cleaner shave. The menthol gives that soothing effect to the face.” | “This is almost like beeswax, which is really good for my thick hair. It allows me to shape it without using too much.” |
“This shampoo helps my hair hold style—otherwise it can fall flat.” | “I’m a big gamer geek—I’m huge into Microsoft and the Xbox. Right now I’m playing Modern Warfare 2.” |
“I’m a huge surfer; I absolutely love to surf. There’s a beach up in County Line that I go to a lot—every time I go up there’s rideable waves, so it’s a perfect.” | “This is the first book in a three part series. If anyone is into post apocalyptic love stories, this is the book. It keeps you on edge; it’s suspenseful.” |

THE THREE-STEP FACE
When it came to prepping Malambri for this shoot, groomer Gia Harris had it pretty easy. Fellas, take note: This three-step process is her go-to men’s routine.
Step One: Prep skin with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer. The lightweight lotion absorbs quickly, leaving the complexion nourished and soft, not greasy.
Step 2: Work a dab of Homeoplasmine into the lips. “This amazing skin abrasion ointment is available online and in most French pharmacies. I love it because it moisturizes without looking too shiny. Rick is already gorgeous enough without glossy lips!” says Harris.
Step 3: Swipe away sweat and grease with Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. “They’re so much better than powder,” Harris says.

HAIR HOW-TO
To give Malambri’s hair a bit of weight and texture, Townsend warmed a dab of American Crew Fiber Pliable Molding Cream between his palms before smoothing it into the strands. “It’s an incredible product because it gives you that hold without looking crunchy,” says Townsend.
