HAIR HOW-TO
“For our first photo shoot with MARKTbeauty, I wanted to show Lea with really high fashion, glamorous hair,” said Townsend. He spritzed damp hair with volumizer before blowing it dry. “It keeps styles from falling flat throughout a long day,” he said. He gathered her hair into a ponytail at her crown and shaped it into a high top knot with bobby pins. To recreate a similar look, don’t pull your ponytail all the way through your elastic. Instead, let the loop fall around the base, and secure leftover length with bobby pins. As for Lea’s bangs? “I love the subtle curve and slight piecey-ness,” he said. “It adds a sort of retro softness to a very elegant style.” A blast of hairspray added both shine and hold.
