My heart skipped a beat when I saw the cover and inside pictures of Jessica Biel from this month’s Glamour magazine!
This has to be one of my favorite photo shoots I’ve ever worked on and I love the big hair and gorgeous makeup that Kara Yoshimoto Bua did on Jessica! When I arrived in the studio that morning and had a chat with the Glamour team and photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath and heard they wanted to go very glamorous with Jessica’s looks I got really excited and pulled out all the stops to give them big, full, glam hair!
To get full hair like Jessica’s here I like to use steam rollers (Caruso are my favorite.) Make sure to wipe any excess moisture from the sponge inside the roller and then hold the roller close to your scalp and wrap a 3 inch section of hair around the roller. Let the hair cool completely in the rollers for about 15 to 20 minutes before removing and brushing out. Flip your head over and give all the hair a good amount of flexible hold hairspray and then flip back up like an 80s supermodel. Bring on more GLAMOUR!
