MAKEUP MOMENT

For Biel’s Veruschka-inspired look, Goodwin skipped the tri-color smoky eye and instead mixed two blue shadows: One in a medium tone and one just a shade lighter. “The colors aren’t dramatically different, but by combining them around the eye, you create depth and freshness,” she said. For a similar effect, sweep an aquamarine shade up to the crease, then follow with a wash of powder blue shadow up to the brow bone. Blend the two colors with a soft brush to create a subtle halo of intense pigment.
